Cancellation, Refund & Project Closure Policy
At MakeAuditEasy, we maintain structured engagement terms to ensure fairness, transparency, and professional execution of all assignments.
Please read the following policy carefully.
1. Cancellation Before 3rd Working Day
- Clients may cancel the project at any time before the completion of the 3rd working day from the official project start date.
- In such cases, the client will be eligible for a 100% refund of the amount paid.
- Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe after written confirmation.
2. Cancellation After 3rd Working Day
- After completion of the 3rd working day, payments made will be non-refundable.
- The client may still:
- Formally cancel the project, or
- Request postponement/rescheduling.
However, no refund will be applicable beyond the 3rd working day.
3. Continuation of Work & Payment Obligation
- If the client does not formally cancel or postpone the project,
- MakeAuditEasy will continue working as per the agreed scope.
- Upon completion of the work, the client must release the full remaining payment within 45 calendar days from the date of work completion.
4. Client Non-Cooperation / Project Abandonment Policy
To ensure timely delivery, client cooperation is mandatory.
The project will be considered abandoned/closed under the following conditions:
- The client stops responding to emails or communication.
- The client delays required inputs, approvals, credentials, or documentation.
- The client does not formally inform us about postponement, delay, or rescheduling.
- There is no communication for more than 30 days from the date of the last official email communication.
In such cases:
- The project will be treated as automatically closed.
- No refund will be applicable.
- Work already completed will remain billable.
5.Re-Initiation Policy
If the client contacts us again:
- Within 45 days from the project closure date:
- We may resume the project, subject to internal approval and feasibility.
- After 45 days from the project closure date:
- The project will be treated as permanently closed.
- We will not resume work.
- No refund will be processed.
- No work documents, partial reports, KT (Knowledge Transfer), or deliverables will be shared.
- The previous project engagement will stand fully terminated.
6.Fresh Booking Requirement (After 45 Days)
If the client wishes to proceed after 45 days:
- A fresh request/booking will be required.
- A new scope of work will be defined.
- New commercial terms will apply.
- The old project terms, pricing, scope, or commitments will not apply.
- The previous project team or conditions will not automatically carry forward.
- The new project will be treated as a completely independent engagement.
7. Important Notes
- All cancellation or postponement requests must be submitted in writing via official email.
- The project start date is defined as the date mentioned in the official confirmation email.
- Any third-party expenses, statutory fees, or already incurred costs are non-refundable.
- MakeAuditEasy reserves the right to allocate resources based on active project status.
